After the success of the first two book clubs with Dutch books, Direct Dutch Institute organizes another book club, starting October 31.
In three meetings we will discuss the book ‘Het Dwaallicht’ (the will o’ the wisp) by Willem Elsschot. This is the last and shortest novel of an ingenious writer and poet (1882 -1960). ‘Het Dwaallicht’ is a masterpiece, written in 1946 but still very topical and humorous. The book club is suitable for intermediate and advanced students of Dutch, the discussions are completely in Dutch.
