Tuesday is a good day for a little quiz. It’s the second day of the working week. It’s almost Wednesday, so that means it’s almost Thursday. Basically, it’s almost weekend! O.k., let’s not get ahead of ourselves, here’s the question.
Question
Answer
De correct answer is A. Neef en nicht (cousins). Dutch children call the children of their aunts and uncles neven (male) en nichten (female). Arthur and Maria also refer to Klaartje as their nichtje (niece) and Esther refers to Koen as her neefje (nephew or cousin).
