About Direct Dutch Film Club & Workshop
Are you learning Dutch? Would you like more opportunity to practise speaking it? Join us during one of our activities in Central Library The Hague! These events have proven to be beneficial for anyone seeking to enhance their Dutch conversational abilities. It is a great way to practise speaking Dutch while delving into typical Dutch subjects.
Direct Dutch Film Club
During our film afternoons, we’ll watch a Dutch movie (or documentary) together. Afterwards, we’ll engage in an interesting discussion about the movie or its subject matter. We’ll come up with creative ways to get everyone talking! It is recommended that you have a basic understanding of Dutch to participate. (A1 + / A2 +).
Direct Dutch Workshop
Our workshops are in Dutch and they are always about typical Dutch subjects. In recent years, we have covered a diverse range of subjects, including Dutch water management, the monarchy, politics, and the Dutch ‘holy horse’: the bicycle. Our workshops provide opportunities for discussion, question-and-answer sessions, and interactive exercises.
To fully grasp the content of the workshops, it is recommended to have at least an A2 level proficiency in Dutch.

Participation in our events is completely free, registration is required. At the top of this page, you can find the upcoming events in 2023.
