Do you speak Dutch at level A1 or higher? Do you wish you had more opportunities to improve your conversation skills in public? Register now for Spreek Nederlands Dag on October 22, organised by Direct Dutch Institute (registration is no longer possible).
On this gezellige day we have one goal in mind: to speak Dutch as much as possible! This year’s theme will be herfst (autumn).
Why do we need such an event, you may ask? Well, speaking Dutch in public can sometimes be challenging for internationals, as many Dutchies are quick to switch to English.
Dutch people aim to be helpful of course, but it doesn’t help you on your Dutch language journey! On Spreek Nederlands Dag, we will encourage all internationals to speak Dutch proudly, regardless of mistakes or accents.
Let’s celebrate learning Dutch and encourage each other to speak Dutch confidently!
